Fantasy boats

Recipe appetizers for 4 people based on Lettuce salad.

Preparation:

Preparation: Choose four beautiful slightly concave fresh lettuce leaves, wash them, dry them delicately. Remove the central bone from the sardines, put them back together, arrange them on the salad together with a fan-shaped pickled gherkin and a fresh radish cut into a flower. Decorate with small bows or strips of mayonnaise. Arrange the boats on the lightly buttered slices of bread and remove the crust, arrange them on a serving plate and serve.
