Preparation: Wash the courgettes, remove the ends and cut them into cubes. peel the onions and cut them into thin slices. Heat the oven to 140 degrees (thermostat 4). Butter a large baking dish, sprinkle it with three tablespoons of breadcrumbs. Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly with a fork. Salt, pepper, pour into the pan and mix. Fill the baking dish with the courgette and egg mixture, pouring it delicately by the spoonful. Sprinkle the surface with the remaining breadcrumbs. Place in the oven and simmer for fifteen minutes, until the gratin is golden brown and the eggs are set. Serve in the baking dish.
